As you already know Megaupload was closed by FBI. Thats the reason why TC cut off download for free users, only registered users for now have access to download links - that way we can control our transfer better. TC will stay ad free and donation free but hosting is not for free. We hope that some of you could suggest few mirror options (Mr. Harrison?). We encourage you to register. As you know, the company did not upload new exes for a long time.
It is caused by the ongoing update of 2.5, that you liked.
You may ask:
Why didn't you upload new items on the ocassion?
The answer is simple: the number of exes is equal to 99 (a compilation is counted as 1) we wanted to have that 100th exe to somehow celebrate our 3-year-long adventure with developing our project.
There isnt many titles to the end of the update - in one forum topic I bet that we will make it till the end of the month. Shed no tears: TC will upload two new exes - first time this year - becasue after deleting 3 old ones, which are now in compilation we've got two free places in our count to 100.

Due to a DDoS attack our site was unavailable for a couple of hours. The problem is solved.

At the very beginning, I'd like to thank everyone for taking part in our last poll and for our new 'most-users-ever' record -- there were 236 of us online on our forum!
After almost two months of waiting we have for you our new, revised EXE, which you can spot on your right.

What is different?

• inner L04D3R'a name changed to tcUAE (other desgin fixes are visible under F12),
• instant EXE startup with possibility to load your own high scores (you have to press numpad '*' after tcUAE starts to refresh the game and load your highscores, otherwise defualts are loaded),
• possibility to load your game at any given moment through command line, using your own SGF,
• native window for picking a title from a compilation,
• 90% of false antiviruses' alerts will disappear,
• 'delete' now serves as a quit key (not 'home'). You can also use alt+f4,
• better SGFs (old ones are not compatible anymore),
• other minor updates.

If we get positive feedback all of our old EXEs will be upgraded and then new titles will be uploaded.

WANTED!
The Company is seeking people who can write 'slave' for WHDLoad well. Moreover we would love to meet a scene group, that would make us a unique cracktro (instead of the splash seen on EXE start).

We're ecstatic to inform, that just yesterday our beta-testers were testing a 2.5 version compilation.
After some positive results you can imagine what will happen...;)

For those of you who has not been (yet) enlightened -- there is a number under your nickname (if you are logged in), it shows how many of the EXEs you've already downloaded is not up-to-date.

Each time you download an EXE it is added to your list. In case of an update on our server you'll be informed about it right there.

All of the images of games that were part of a compilation has been uploaded -- we can cogratulate Pancio on that -- 99% of them is his doing.

Dear hungarian friends. While browsing through the web I've discovered a link from Stöki, where many were fearing viruses. The Company officially states that there never were, there are not, and there will not be any viruses in our EXE's. If you have our official EXE release - not from other suspicious sources - you shouldn't be afraid. To check your EXE please compare MD5 sum of your files with the ones on our webpage.

I'd like to present some of the innovations that will be coming up soon on our homepage.

• download limit counter for unregistered users
  fearing DDoS, we've decided to restrict our » guests « download -- after clicking download icon, a counter will be set, blocking the ability to download another EXE. Heavier the EXE is, longer you wait.
  (1 MB = 1 minute of waiting). I'll surely take care of the counting, so you won't have to strain your brain cells with this trivial task.
  The limits will be implemented only for our server -- that said, it will NOT take effect on our mirror sites. They already have their own restricions, as you all well know I presume.
• more comfortable way of browsing through EXE compilations

From now on, registered users won't have to worry about checking if EXE's they downloaded are up-to-date -- number of outdated EXEs is right under your log-in on our homepage.

Finally we've managed to provide full compatibility with XP systems. If you have trouble starting our games, please try to first have your Caps Lock ON. That problem is connected with our intro -- with Caps Lock enabled the intro will not be shown and the game will start immediately. This occurs only on certain XP configuration, alas it can be resolved only by re-writing our intro and nobody volunteered (yet).

I can finally proudly announce that new DemonicResolution is out and in a final stage of beta testing. Some of the main modifications include proper behaviour with multiple display monitors and a possibility to change filters.

Home page registration does not exist -- if you want to comment here you have to register on our forum, then you will automatically be able to vote in queries, comment etc... As for now there is no need to create an account if you only want to download EXEs from our server.

Remember that after registering you have to wait until someone from administration approves of your account -- there are no e-mail activation links.

Currently two games are in beta testing stage: fixed Breathless and Benefactor. Later on games will be appearing systematically. Please have patience as some technical issues have to be overcome first.

These will be probably the first words uttered by those of you, who had our webpage refreshed. (Doubtful) rumours have it, that the site in question was to be out till 1.07, alas it wasn't so easy.
